Dr. Jacqueline D. Chambers

Dr. Jacqueline Chambers is a world renown pianist, organist
and clinician. A native Houstonian, Dr. Chambers has been a
music educator for 28 years. She serves as the Director of
Choral Music at Ross Sterling High School and as a Board
Member of the Houston Chapter of the Edwin and Walter
Hawkins Love Fellowship Music and Arts Seminar.
Dr. Chambers is a graduate of the High School of Performing
and Visual Arts. Dr. Chambers then attended North Texas
State University and the University of Houston where she
obtained her Bachelor of Music in Music Teacher Education.
Dr. Chambers began her graduate studies at Texas Southern
University and the University of St. Thomas. She obtained her
Bachelor in Theology and her Doctorate in Sacred Music from
Mt. Hope Bible College and Seminary.
Dr. Chambers had played for the late Olevia Branch Walker
and Glenn Edward Burleigh. She plays for Yolanda Adams,
Kathleen Battle, Kurt Carr, Dr. Margaret Pleasant Douroux,
Kenn Hicks, Dr. Vernard Johnson, V. Michael McKay, Leona
Mitchell, Dorthoy Norwood, Sarah Jordan Powell, Curtis
Ryman, Barbara Johnson Tucker, Cassandra White and
Vickie Winans.
Dr. Chambers Civic Involvement includes being a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Court of Calanthe.
